Acceptance into Glory
Good news- I've been selected to be in the National Day Parade Scouting Contingent. It was a breeze. This proves that I have talent. I strutted my stuff (no.. marched) for glory.. for the national pride, and with gusto! No, not really. Just trying to grab the 250 CIP hours and the CCA points. Never mind the tough training, the evil, sadistic scoldings of the scout leaders. After all, 250 CIP hours is a lot, and I can go retire at Sec 3. For now, its pure work, study and brain loss. Now, considering that I should have very little brains left inside my hollow skull, I think I would be better off just blindly following the commands of the leaders and be shown on National TV! Woohoo!
Now,being a part of the Contingent means
-You get to show off 250 CIP hours
-You get to be shown on National TV (for your terrible mistakes)
-You get to scold your fellow uniform groups for not participating
-You get to have extra CCA points
-You slog your butt off the whole day
-You are scolded for at least 4 hours minimum
-Bad,bad,bad,bad and finally
-BAD
Isn't that more good points than bad points? So that settles it. I'm going for the NDP.
However,Saturdays can be bade farewell, and more stress will be piled up onto me.Well, I really cant help it if I'm talented enough to be displayed on National TV (for my terrible mistakes)Homework and projects..dont mention them.
So its goodbye Saturday, come National Day.
