OMG- two in one
Today is very interesting. Mainly because as soon as i stepped out of MacDonalds, the weather changed to suit the mood. I mean, the clouds suddenly(?) turned dark, a warning sign that something bad was about to happen. Yes, the dawning of NDP training. Selection test this Saturday- meaning make or break it.
I haven't polished my boots till a mirror-like condition yet, because I still am trying to point the marching boots at every angle to see my reflection, but all i see is black. Yes, black. Worse of all, Maths is still weighing on me. Miss Zizi is very intelligent. She throws all the work back at you, and you take it only to find you have a ton of corrections to do. Now, thats not very considerate, considering that the long weekend would be therefore burnt. However, Miss Zizi thinks that since we have a long weekend, we should make the best out of it.
The best out of what? Homework frenzies? Indulgence in some work? Its simply simple. Nothing can be done to salvage the situation. What does homework mean? From my inferrence, it means boredom, black eyes, big eyelids, droopy eyebrows, sore hands, possibly sore eyes. Fortunately, most people do not get this syndrome as this is only for severe cases. Currently, its only preparations for the Mid-Year Examinations.
This spells bad news. Not only do students have the danger of having grinning,sadistic parents looming over you, to make sure you do your work, projects are starting to come in, one by one, two by two, and flood the poor student. Be prepared to have your hands maimed due to unlimited movements of your frail,weak and feeble hand, completing the last few words of a composition perhaps, or some assignment that is like OMG.
I wonder if there would be a miracle drug, or medicine, or vitamin, to boost our brainpower. Now, many companies claim their products can do the above-mentioned, so if thats the case, then why study? If a test were to be carried out, meaning the student will not study and consume the company's product, happily expecting some kind of miracle results - NO. Only study study study study and study will help. (perhaps copy?)
