hiking
Yesterday we had a hike at Bukit Timah Hill. I thought that we would take at least an hour to hike to the top of 163.67 m (peak), but we only took about half an hour, [we literally chiong-ed] even after going up and down and up and down. From this, i think kuan yao would say life is full of ups and downs. but thats beside the point, during the hike, we didnt even look up to enjoy the scenery, much less see monkeys or snakes. When I reached the peak and sat down, then one uncle talk to me tell me whether i got see snakes. Dang. I've never seen a snake close up in a nature reserve before. Also, when we were allowed to wait and do whatever we want and come back to a meeting place in half-an-hour's time, Gerald bought an ice-cream [Hip-hop jelly], and the worst part was, he kept licking and sucking it until the ice melted so the jelly become floppy and was... disgusting. If that wasn't worse, about 15 people after witnessing this also went to buy. As I'm more refined I chose another ice-cream.
Ok, so today for Scout's we have exploration. Looking forward to it [last scout meeting for the term]. Other than that, the only activity i know of in the holidays is a campfire for scouts and guides. I think its 21 November?
